1 tablet contains bromocriptine mesylate 2.5 mg; per pack 30 pcs.

Indications for use of Parlodel

Prolactin-dependent menstrual disorders and female infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, anovulatory cycles (in addition to antiestrogens), premenstrual syndrome, hyperprolactinemia in men prolactinomas, acromegaly, suppression of lactation (for medical reasons), postpartum breast engorgement beginning postnatal mastitis , mastalgia and other forms of benign breast disease, Parkinson’s disease.



Suppression of lactation:

– Prevention or suppression of lactation in postpartum period for medical reasons;

– Prevention of lactation after abortion; – During post-natal pathological hypertrophy of the mammary glands;

Benign breast diseases:

– Mastalgia (alone or in combination with premenstrual syndrome or the presence of benign nodular or cystic changes);

Contraindications of Parlodel

Precautionary measures

In the postpartum period, it is not recommended to combine with vasoconstrictor drugs, or ergot alkaloids.

Dosages of Parlodel

Parlodel should always be taken with food.

Menstrual irregularities, infertility in women: In half a tablet, 2 or 3 times a day; if this is not sufficient, it is necessary to gradually increase the dose of one tablet 2 or 3 times a day.

Treatment will continue until the return of menstruation and / or ovulation to normal.

Premenstrual symptoms: Treatment started 14 days cycle by half a tablet a day: at half the dose increased tablets per day, two times a day one tablet, to restore the menstrual cycle.

Male hypogonadism: For half tablets 2 or 3 times a day, with gradual dose increases to 2-4 tablets per day.

Acromegaly: Initially for half tablets 2 or 3 times a day, with gradual dose increases to 4-8 tablets per day depending on the clinical response and tolerability.

Suppression of lactation: Initially half a tablet at breakfast and dinner, then one tablet twice a day for 14 days.

To prevent the start of lactation: treatment should be started within a few hours after birth or abortion, but only after stabilization of vital signs.
