Structure and Composition of Noroxin

1 tablet contains 400 mg of norfloxacin.

Indications for use of Noroxin

Urinary tract infections (cystitis, pyelitis, cystopyelitis, pyelonephritis, chronic prostatitis, epididymitis), gonococcal urethritis, acute bacterial gastroenteritis; pharyngitis, proctitis, cervicitis, typhoid fever.

Contraindications of Noroxin

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, prepubescent age.

Side effects of Noroxin

Anorexia, diarrhea disorders, headache, dizziness, sleep disturbances, depression, anxiety, irritability, euphoria, disorientation, hallucination, tinnitus, watery eyes, hives, etc..

Dosing and Administration of Noroxin

Inside. When urinary tract infections: 400 mg 2 times a day for 7-10 days; with uncomplicated cystitis — 3-7 days; in chronic recurrent urinary tract infection — up to 12 weeks; acute bacterial gastroenteritis — 5 days; in acute gonococcal urethritis, pharyngitis, proctitis, cervicitis — single dose of 800 mg; typhoid fever — 400 mg 3 times a day for 14 days. For the prevention of sepsis — 400 mg 2 times a day; for the prevention of bacterial gastroenteritis — 400 mg per day.
