Pharmachologic effect

Motilium is a stimulant of intestinal peristalsis, has anti-emetic effect. The active substance Motilium is Domperidone, which is characteristic of the effect of some antipsychotic drugs. In contrast, it does not cause extrapyramidal side effects ( dystonia, tremor, chorea, athetosis, akathisia, teak, myoclonus, stereotypes). Indications for use

Motilium is prescribed for instructions on:

Contraindications

Side effects

Motilium may cause amenorrhea, hyperprolactinemia (a disease in which increased levels of prolactin), gynecomastia, reversible extrapyramidal pathology in children (after the abolition of the means tested), disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, spastic bowel reduction, allergic reactions. Children under one year Motilium may cause neurological disorders. Overdose may cause disorientation, drowsiness, extrapyramidal disorder (most often occur in children).
