Pletal: instructions for use

Pletal reversibly inhibits platelet aggregation induced by various stimuli, excelling in this respect, aspirin, dipyridamole, ticlopidine and pentoxifylline. And also, reduces the formation of arterial thrombi, and the proliferation of smooth muscle cells, has a vasodilating action.

Indications of Pletal

-After Stenting (in conjunction with kardioaspirinom)

-When Intermittent claudication (CLAUDICATIO INTERMITTENS) (in both lower limbs, pain or feeling a sense of tension, heaviness, numbness, pins and needles, feeling these very unpleasant, sometimes difficult tolerated). This disease is caused by a spasm of blood vessels.

The recommended dosage of Pletal is 100 mg twice daily taken at least half an hour before or two hours after breakfast and dinner.

Dosage of Pletal

Recommended dosage:

100 mg 2 times a day. Take on an empty stomach, 30 minutes or 2 hours before or after dinner or tomorrow.

The course of treatment can last from 16 to 24 weeks

The first improvements can only come through a 4 — 12 weeks

Side effect of Pletal

Pletal quite safe to use.

When receiving, Pletal may occur headache, mild diarrhea, edema, palpitations and dizziness.

Contraindications of Pletal

-Heart failure
